About the Role
The Sales team at Candid Health is entering an exciting new phase of expansion following our Series C fundraise. As we move into new markets and scale our operations, we are looking for a Business Development Representative to be at the forefront of this growth. This unique opportunity allows you to directly impact our expansion by building a robust top‑of‑funnel pipeline for our Account Executive team through strategic, highly targeted outbound efforts.
You will be responsible for executing our go‑to‑market strategy and helping shape it, while working in a culture of collaboration, partnership, and a “win fast, fail fast” mentality.
- Own the outbound strategy: develop and execute a strategic outbound plan to build a pipeline of new customers across Mid‑Market & Enterprise verticals within the Healthcare space, crafting targeted messaging for cold calls, emails, and meetings with physician organizations, MSOs, and PE‑backed roll‑ups.
- Generate and qualify leads: use prospecting tools and research to identify and qualify key decision‑makers and target companies, heavily involved in the initial discovery and qualification phase of the sales process.
- Optimize the sales playbook: help build and refine the sales playbook for current and future sellers, providing critical insights for best practices and scaling our sales efforts.
- Partner for success: work closely with Account Executives to seamlessly hand off highly qualified leads that translate into new business.
- Leverage data: use Salesforce and other sales automation tools to track and report on key sales metrics, manage and prioritize your pipeline, and maintain accurate records to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team.
- Be a market expert: stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs in new markets; continuously educate yourself on Candid’s evolving products and value proposition to differentiate us from the competition.
- Experienced and results‑oriented: you have 1‑2 years of experience in a strategic outreach role focused on enterprise prospects, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding goals.
- Data‑driven research prospector: you strive to understand every angle, build outreach from a strategic point of view based on market research, and understand KPIs that drive success.
- A confident communicator: you are comfortable making cold calls and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Disciplined and resourceful: you exemplify organization, discipline, and resourcefulness, managing time and priorities effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proactive and curious: you constantly look for ways to improve not only your own performance but also the overall sales strategy, thriving on solving complex problems and finding new opportunities.
Atlanta, GA – in‑person culture in our Atlanta office, with a weekly schedule of 4 days in‑office and 1 day remote.
