Overview

As AWS continues to rapidly grow, we seek experienced and talented Account Managers to own, operate and help define GTM strategy for a named set of accounts within Enterprise Automotive & Manufacturing customers. These accounts will have complex infrastructure requirements and you will be selling into multiple lines of business within each account. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in our largest and fastest growing accounts.

As a Principal Account Executive you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of globally recognizable brands. You will develop and execute against a territory strategy and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration in enterprise accounts.
  • Build relationships across an account including C-level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner org, and sales.
  • Sell at the most strategic (C-level) within the account and implement a broad strategy for customer acceptance and service implementation.
  • Collaborate with AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to support customer interests and advocate for the customer in harmony with AWS business needs.
  • Own new service adoption, new line of business development, and dotted line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.

Qualifications
  • 7 years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
  • Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7 years of creating and implementing long-term transformational account strategies in a customer-facing role or equivalent experience.

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
