Job Description & How to Apply Below

Luma Mental Health Network is a growing virtual mental health company that operates at the intersection of behavioral health and the personal injury ecosystem. We provide virtual psychological testing, psychological evaluations, and therapy services for individuals involved in personal injury cases.

We partner with personal injury law firms to give their clients convenient access to mental health care, backed by timely clinical documentation, responsive communication, and a streamlined referral experience. We are a results-driven, collaborative organization that values accountability, execution, and continuous growth.

The Role

We are seeking a Business Development Representative to build and grow relationships with personal injury law firms throughout Metro Atlanta. You will identify new firms, get in front of attorneys and their teams, and turn those introductions into active, long-term referral partnerships.

This is a field-based role based out of our Sandy Springs office, ideal for someone who is confident walking into a law firm, enjoys meeting new people, and knows that consistent activity and follow-up are what build a territory. This position reports to the Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and identify personal injury law firms throughout Metro Atlanta and surrounding markets
  • Conduct regular in-person visits to introduce Luma and book meetings with attorneys, managing partners, case managers, and intake managers
  • Present Luma's services and show firms the value of including mental health evaluations and treatment in personal injury case management
  • Build and execute a territory plan to grow new law firm partnerships and patient referrals
  • Follow up consistently with prospective partners to convert opportunities into active referral relationships
  • Serve as the primary relationship contact for your firms, with regular check-ins to strengthen relationships and grow referral volume
  • Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts
  • Partner with our operations team to resolve partner concerns quickly and keep the referral experience smooth
  • Coordinate lunch-and-learns, office introductions, and educational presentations, and represent Luma at legal networking and community events
  • Track prospecting, visits, meetings, follow-ups, and pipeline in our CRM
  • Share regular updates with leadership on territory performance, pipeline, and competitive activity
What success looks like:
  • First 30–60–90 days: learned Luma's services and referral process, built a target list for your territory, and running a full weekly schedule of in-person firm visits.
  • Consistent field activity: a steady weekly volume of firm visits and decision-maker meetings, with every touchpoint logged in the CRM.
  • New partnerships: the firms you open become active referral partners.
  • Referral growth: referral volume grows from both new and existing accounts in your territory.
  • Healthy pipeline: a well-managed pipeline that keeps you on track to hit monthly and quarterly goals.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in outside sales, business development, account management, or relationship-based sales
  • Experience with personal injury law firms, attorneys, or legal referral networks is strongly preferred; healthcare, behavioral health, or legal industry sales experience is a plus
  • Established relationships in the Metro Atlanta personal injury legal community are a strong plus
  • Track record of prospecting, generating new business, and meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Confident presenter and communicator who can build trust with attorneys and their teams
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field
  • Able to manage multiple accounts with consistent follow-up
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the territory
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
What We Offer:
  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives
  • Opportunity to join a high-growth company with strong market momentum
  • Meaningful work expanding access to mental health care for people recovering from injuries
  • Supportive, team-oriented culture
  • Career development and advancement opportunities
