The Food Scientist will lead product development within the Sports Drink category, executing projects from concept through commercialization. This role applies core food science
, sensory
, analytical
, microbiology
, and engineering principles to drive innovation, support base business maintenance, and deliver productivity initiatives. The position operates independently while partnering cross-functionally and serving as a technical consultant to internal stakeholders.

• Design, develop, and commercialize sports beverage products using beverage formulation and process technology
  .
• Prepare, manage, and protect proprietary formulas
  , specifications, and technical documentation.
• Lead multi-disciplinary projects with effective project management and time management
  .
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve ingredient
  , formula
  , and process issues
  .
• Conduct sensory evaluations
  , analytical testing
  , and microbiological assessments to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Research and evaluate emerging trends and technologies in the beverage industry
  .
• Maintain accurate records and ensure laboratory safety compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related discipline;
  MS preferred
  .
• 5+ years of experience in beverage development or related food R&D.
• Strong knowledge of food chemistry
  , food process technology
  , microbiology
  , sensory science
  , and product commercialization
  .
• Proven ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and collaborate cross-functionally.
