Security Officer

We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Officer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors by monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and responding to incidents promptly and professionally.

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Control access to premises by verifying identification and authorizing entry.
• Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
• Enforce company policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, and other violations.
• Provide assistance and directions to employees, visitors, and clients as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
• Valid security officer license or certification as required by Georgia state law.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
