Security Guard

Overview

Capital City Club is an exclusive, private club with three locations in the Atlanta area. We currently have an opening at our Country Club located in Brookhaven for a full-time Security Guard. We offer health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits along with a company match for our 401(k). We are looking for a self-reliant individual who is consistent, friendly, informative, and confident.

Primary Responsibilities include maintaining all areas of the Club as peaceful and safe for members, guests, and employees, and providing a warm welcome to everyone.

4:30am-1:30pm with availability Monday through Friday.

• Greet members and guests at the front gate in a polite, friendly manner, using their names if possible
• Provide information to members and guests on the daily functions and locations within the Club
• Patrol parking lots and prevent unauthorized vehicles and people from accessing the property
• Patrol all areas of the Club including employee areas, golf course, and lake
• Ensure overall safety on Club property by enforcing driving speeds, preventing reckless behavior, and ensuring proper parking procedures
• Assist Club management in enforcing employee rules, preventing employee theft, and documenting security-related incidents
• Assist in emergency procedures, including directing emergency vehicles and guiding members, guests, and employees to proper emergency areas
• Respond promptly to emergency calls with timely response and corrective action to protect Club operations
• Maintain a clean and properly fueled security cart
• Write daily security reports and incident/investigation reports; communicate priorities and problems with the Chief Engineer
• Safeguard and properly use tools and equipment provided by the Club
• Maintain current CPR/AED certifications
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Be in good physical condition and able to handle the demands of the job
• Driver’s license in good standing
