Security Monitor - Part-time

Location: Atlanta, GA

Pay: $20-22 per hour (based on experience)

Shifts: 7 days a week – 7 AM–3 PM, 3 PM–11 PM, and 11 PM–7 AM

Do you want to start a career in law enforcement? As a Part-time Security Monitor, you will watch cameras and check on activity inside a local jail. You’ll help keep the building safe by reporting anything unusual and following safety rules. Security Monitors are unarmed and are not sworn law enforcement officers. We will train you on the job, so no experience is needed.

Skills Required:

• On-time and dependable are two of the most critical skills
• Basic computer and/or mobile device skills for data entry, and entering your hours worked.
• Good verbal written communication skills; we're not asking you to write a novel, just documenting what happen and when it occurred.
• Ability to follow instructions; this is a structured environment, so procedures must be followed.
• Criminal background checks are required: no felonies within the last 7 years.

We need team members who show up on time, follow directions, and use basic computer skills. Good communication is important. Veterans, former police officers, EMTs, and medical workers are encouraged to apply.
