Job SummaryPerform general landscape and grounds maintenance activities to include mowing, trimming and debris removal. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: supervisor and coworkers. This position typically will advise and counsel: NA. This position will supervise: NA.
Responsibilities- Job Duty 1 - Maintain trees, shrubs, ground covers and flower beds (planting, fertilizing, mulching, watering, pruning, etc.).
- Job Duty 2 - Transport equipment and personnel via motor vehicle to and from job sites.
- Job Duty 3 - Perform lawn maintenance including mowing, line trimming, edging, aeration, fertilization, lime application, etc.
- Job Duty 4 - Clear landscape and grounds of debris, trash, branches and leaves.
- Job Duty 5 - Empty trash receptacles, remove ice and clean storm drains.
- Job Duty 6 - Dig trenches, perform minor street and walkways repairs.
- Job Duty 7 - Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma
Required Experience
Up to one year of job related experience
SKILLS
This job requires basic knowledge of grounds maintenance processes and practices including operation of related equipment, use of radio communications equipment and operation of a motor vehicle.
