Facility Security Manager

The Facilities Security Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational oversight, and continuous improvement of physical security programs across assigned facilities. This role ensures the protection of employees, visitors, infrastructure, and critical assets through effective security governance, risk management, and day‑to‑day operational execution.
* * Perform regular risk assessments to identify threats and vulnerabilities.*
* * Develop strategies to mitigate risks and maintain a secure environment.*
* * Stay updated on emerging security threats and compliance requirements.*
* * Create and update security SOPs and emergency response guidelines.*
* * Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations*
* * Recruit, train, and schedule security staff.*
* * Conduct performance reviews and ensure ongoing training.*
* * Foster a culture of safety and preparedness among employees.*
* * Work with HR, GRE, and Site Leaders for integrated security strategies.*
* * Liaise with external vendors and local law enforcement.*
- ** Educational Background;**
* * High School diploma required, some college preferred or equivalent experience preferred.*
- ** Work Experience;**
* * Several years of experience in buildings security, or facilities management is essential. This includes hands-on experience with security operations, risk assessments, and incident response.*
- ** Technical Skills;**
* * Knowledge of security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, alarm systems) and familiarity with the latest security technologies.

Experience with Honeywell Pro-Watch access control and Avigilon camera systems preferred.*
- ** Teamwork Skills;**
* * Experience in managing projects, interacting with stakeholders, executing security policies, and coordinating with other departments to include Real Estate and Safety teams.*
- ** Communication and Interpersonal Skills;**
* * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and external agencies.*
- ** Problem-Solving Abilities;**
* * The ability to quickly assess situations and make informed decisions during security incidents.*
- ** Compliance Knowledge;**
* * Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to building security*.
