As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Asset Protection in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Full Time Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Wed: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Fri: 06:45 AM - 05:00 PM
Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, control visitor entry, and report access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and site contacts as appropriate.
Maintain required reports and activity logs, and handle authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least two years of security-related experience.
Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
