These are time limited positions subject to funding availability and the needs of the Agency.

The UI Claims Examiner Associate - TLB completes duties to support the establishment unemployment insurance claim over payments, including fraudulent and non-fraudulent over payments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES Reviews unemployment insurance claims for over payments.

Establishes and investigates fraud and non-fraud over payments.

Processes Employer and Claimant Wage Audit Notices.

Conducts fact-finding procedures on an over payment to determine whether the over payment was due to fraud.

Processes payments received and prepares daily deposit.

Reviews appeals that are remanded to the over payment unit.

Reviews New Hire information received.

Identifies any issue(s) and determines the correct department(s) to address the issue(s).Performs daily clerical and follow-up tasks in support of over payment/fraud investigation. activities

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university

One year of experience working in the unemployment insurance benefits program
