** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a corporate technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and policy concerns.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular conditions to the appropriate personnel.

+ Document patrol observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
