Position: Low-Voltage Field Technician (Temporary / On-Demand)

Transcend LV is looking for a reliable and skilled Low-Voltage Field Technician to support our project teams on a temporary, on-demand basis. Work assignments may include structured cabling, access control, CCTV, sound masking, and AV system installations.

• Install, test, and troubleshoot structured cabling, access control, security cameras, AV systems, and sound masking devices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, cable paths, and job site documentation.
• Operate independently or support larger install teams on commercial job sites.
• Use hand and power tools, ladders, and lifts safely and effectively.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with project leads, clients, and teammates.
• Complete field documentation as required (photos, install logs, punch lists).
• Bring your own tools, truck, and ladder when working as a temp.

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on low-voltage installation experience.
• Experience with structured cabling, access control, CCTV, AV, or sound masking.
• Strong punctuality and accountability; able to show up early and stay on task.
• Basic technical literacy with laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• High school diploma or GED required.

• BICSI or manufacturer certifications in structured cabling.
• Certifications in access control, CCTV, AV, or sound masking systems.
• Own a truck, ladder, and full tool set (required for on-demand/temp roles).

Pay: $20–$30/hour (based on experience and equipment provided)

Schedule:

Monday – Friday; hours vary by assignment

Employment Type:

Temporary / On-Demand (1099 contractor via TCC)

Onsite at project locations assigned by Transcend LV.

Travel may be required depending on project needs.
