Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work as an Electrical Service / UPS Installation Systems Technician for M.C. Dean’s Service & National Accounts Group. This group operates 24/7 - 365 to support our customers and is known for providing the best customer experience. We offer world-class support and training, fostering a family-oriented culture focused on customer satisfaction, quality, and safety.

This is a regional service position requiring regular travel across the United States. Responsibilities include electrical installations, UPS servicing, and troubleshooting electrical equipment and systems per plans, specifications, and codes. The candidate must present themselves professionally and maintain safety standards.

• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, conduit, cables, equipment, and components based on blueprints and plans.
• Installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining EMS systems, smart breakers, electronic controls, panels, sensors, and components.
• Inspecting sites and studying work orders and manuals to determine materials and procedures.
• Testing electrical systems and circuits for continuity using test devices.
• Diagnosing malfunctions and correcting issues using test equipment and hand tools.
• Training and directing workers in electrical installation and repair tasks.
• This position requires 60% travel across the U.S.

• HS diploma/GED with a minimum of 5+ years in the electrical service industry, including UPS system installation experience.

• Pass background check and drug test
• Possess an acceptable driving record for company vehicle use
• Excellent knowledge of electrical tools and testing equipment
• Proficient with smart devices and web applications
• Commitment to high-quality work and safety standards
• Wear OSHA-approved work attire (pants and shirt covering shoulders by 7 inches)
• Punctuality, teamwork, and safety focus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Journeyman's license or equivalent
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Lift and Aerial Training, NFPA 70E, OSHA 30)
• UPS installation knowledge
