Commercial Security Installation Technician Atlanta Metro Area/McDonough and Marietta locations

Full-TimeKMT Systems is seeking an experienced

Commercial Security Installation Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a hands-on technician with commercial experience, installing, wiring, terminating, testing and troubleshooting access control, video surveillance/CCTV, intrusion, and low-voltage systems.

What We’re looking for
· Commercial security, access control, CCTV/video surveillance or related low-voltage installation experience
· Strong low-voltage wiring, termination, testing and troubleshooting skills
· Ability to read plans and construction drawings
· Working knowledge of basic IP networking, including addressing and PoE
· Commercial jobsite experience preferred
· Strong problem solving, communication, and customer service skills
· Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
· Ability to work independently and as part of project team
· Ability to work from ladders/ lifts, pull cable, work above ceilings, and perform the physical duties of commercial low-voltage installation5+ years of commercial security experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates with strong transferable low-voltage experience and demonstrated technical ability.

This is a field role: the work happens at customer and job sites rather than at a single worksite, and you will be based within driving distance of the job location. Expect day trips to job sites, with most nights  should be proficient in:
