Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting our customers by inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical power distribution equipment. You'll work hands‑on with a wide range of systems, deliver exceptional service, and be a trusted resource in the field representing Sunbelt Solomon.

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical distribution equipment.
• Perform electrical testing on transformers, breakers, switch gear, relays, and related equipment.
• Respond to customer needs-including occasional emergency calls-with professionalism and urgency.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following company and customer safety standards.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
• Properly manage, check in/out, and care for company tools and test equipment.
• Travel locally and regionally, with periodic overnight assignments.

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or associate degree in electrical trades preferred.
• NETA 2 certification preferred; will substitute 3+ years of relevant work experience on commercial or industrial electrical projects
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams and control schematics.
• Skilled in the use of industrial electrical test equipment and hand tools.
• Strong commitment to safety, including PPE use, lockout/tagout, and hazard awareness.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet background and drug-screen requirements.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and work extended or irregular hours as needed.
• Eligibility to work in the US without need for employer sponsored VISA (work permit)

• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work in outdoor or industrial environments.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and enter confined spaces.
• Ability to work extended hours, including nights or weekends during outages or emergency service calls.
