Community Living Assistant – Full-Time, 2nd Shift

Atlanta Mission invites a dedicated Community Living Assistant to provide life-transforming experiences to over 1000 clients daily. This role creates a safe, stable, and healthy community while encouraging camaraderie among clients.

Monday, Wednesday – Saturday, 3:30 pm – 12:00 am (2nd Shift)

• Client Supervision & Safety:
  Monitor client activity, conduct room checks, traffic through key areas, and respond promptly to incidents.
• Orientation & Client Support:
  Conduct orientation sessions, serve as day‑to‑day contact for client needs, and model conflict resolution.
• Documentation & Communication:
  Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, prepare incident reports, and communicate concerns via notes and email.
• Medication Administration:
  Administer medication accurately and document consumption.
• Relationship Building:
  Build rapport, demonstrate problem‑resolution skills, and maintain a safe environment.

• Proven ability to de‑escalate conflicts and respond to crises.
• Experience in residential or community living programs.
• Strong communication skills and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Prior training in trauma‑informed care or working with vulnerable populations.
• High energy, teamwork, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

• Stand for long periods, move to various locations, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, reach, pull, push, bend, and twist.
• Operate computer and office equipment.
• Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
