Software Engineer, C++

We are looking for a talented Staff Software Engineer to join our satellite provisioning team  this role you will design, implement, and optimize core provisioning systems that enable reliable delivery of radio services to millions of listeners worldwide.

• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, define system architectures, and develop software solutions that meet the needs of our satellite provisioning infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure the quality, security, and maintainability of our software components.
• Contribute to the development of performant and scalable software using languages such as Java, C++, and Scala.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software components to identify and resolve issues, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives to facilitate collaboration and project delivery.
• Document software design specifications, technical documentation, and user guides to support knowledge sharing and maintain system integrity.

• BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in backend system development with a strong focus on software design principles and best practices.
• Extremely proficient in Java, C++, and Scala with experience in RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP.
• Experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS) and package management.
• Knowledge of Postgre
  
  SQL and database replication technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Podman), and orchestration (Kubernetes, Open Shift).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS, and cloud-native services.
• Strong comprehension of software build and deployment processes, including IaC tools such as CDK.
• Excellent problem‑solving, time‑management, and communication skills.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
