As Manager of Software Engineering, Consent Platform at One Trust, you will lead and manage software engineers while overseeing the development and delivery of high‑quality microservices‑based applications. You will play a hands‑on technical role, driving the development of new products, defining requirements, and executing projects with excellence.

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative high‑performance environment.
• Oversee the development lifecycle of Java‑based applications, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to the highest quality.
• Set technical direction for software development, including architectural decisions, technology choices, and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and develop detailed technical specifications.
• Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes, implementing agile practices.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development of team members.
• Ensure software solutions meet quality standards through code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and drive adoption of new tools and techniques.

• Extensive experience overseeing the full development lifecycle with scalable, reliable, and available solutions.
• Leads engineering teams to develop and scale data processing platforms delivered as SaaS solutions.
• Builds and optimizes edge computing solutions using AI/ML technologies for advanced data classification.
• Designs strategies for future development projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Mentors internal engineering talent and supports their growth.
• Participates in strategic discussions on impactful programs and contributes to career advancement.
• Coordinates effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Identifies and implements opportunities to improve development processes and practices.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Over 12 years of engineering experience with a proven record in delivering complex, enterprise‑class software solutions with market impact.
• Experience designing and building distributed and parallel data processing platforms.
• Skilled in collaborating with architecture and engineering leads to create comprehensive architectural models and technical design documentation.
• Exceptional leadership abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Deep understanding of system performance tradeoffs and engineering for high availability.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
• Knowledge of front‑end technologies and full‑stack development is a plus.

$143,625–$ USD (annual base pay for eligible locations; additional bonuses, equity, and commissions may apply).
