About the Company

We are a pioneering biomedical technology startup developing cutting‑edge solutions that revolutionize cardiovascular health monitoring. Our breakthrough innovation enables accurate blood pressure measurement at the fingertip, making vital health metrics more accessible than ever before. By combining advanced sensor technology, sophisticated algorithms, and innovative engineering, we're transforming how people monitor and manage their heart health. Our mission is to democratize blood pressure monitoring through non‑invasive, user‑friendly technology that delivers clinical‑grade accuracy in everyday settings.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Software Engineer to lead the development of our consumer‑facing mobile applications that interface with our groundbreaking fingertip blood pressure technology. You'll work closely with our research team to implement cutting‑edge signal processing algorithms, build robust cross‑platform libraries, and create intuitive mobile experiences that make advanced health monitoring accessible to everyone. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role where you'll drive mobile architecture decisions while directly contributing to our codebase.

Responsibilities
  • Implement cutting‑edge cardiovascular algorithms and signal processing techniques in mobile environments
  • Build and maintain cross‑platform libraries for iOS and Android using native and/or hybrid frameworks
  • Design and develop leading‑edge mobile experiences that simplify complex health data for consumers
  • Lead mobile architecture decisions and establish best practices for our mobile development team
  • Integrate Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols for seamless device connectivity and real‑time data streaming
  • Collaborate with research team to translate algorithmic prototypes into optimized mobile implementations
  • Lead and mentor a small team of mobile developers through technical guidance and code reviews
  • Drive app store releases, managing the full lifecycle from development through publication
  • Partner with UX/UI designers to create intuitive interfaces for health data presentation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of mobile development experience
  • Proven track record of leading small teams (2-4 developers) through successful app launches and feature releases
  • Strong proficiency in native mobile development (Swift/iOS and/or Kotlin/Java/Android)
  • Experience with cross‑platform frameworks (Kotlin Multiplatform or others)
  • Demonstrated ability to implement complex algorithms in mobile environments
  • Experience with mobile app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, MVP)
  • Strong understanding of mobile performance optimization and memory management
  • Track record of shipping consumer‑facing mobile applications with significant user bases
  • Excellence in debugging and profiling mobile applications
  • Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with both iOS and Android platform development
  • Strong background in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and connected device integration
  • Previous work in health tech, medical device development, or FDA‑regulated software
  • Experience with real‑time data streaming and visualization on mobile platforms
  • Knowledge of signal processing or experience with sensor data
  • Experience with wearable device integration and IoT protocols
  • Experience with regulatory requirements for medical software (IEC 62304, FDA guidance)
  • Experience with mobile security best practices and encryption
What We're Looking For
