ML Engineer II

** ABOUT THIS POSITION
** We are looking for an outstanding, brilliant, and driven Application Engineer to join our growing Advanced R & D team. In this mission critical role, the Application Engineer will design, build, and implement amazing web applications and back-end services for our internal customers. They will also have the opportunity to work with cloud-based components and generative AI services on the Google platform.
** WHAT YOU'LL DO*** + Designs/develops/tests/implementsimprovements or new features in our core code deployment tools and supporting applications, based onthefunctional and technical specifications  + Designs/develops/tests/implementsnew features using the Google Cloud Platform  + Designs/develops/tests/implementsnew services that interact with various generative AI models hosted on Google Cloud and on-premises  + Responsible for adhering to coding standards andtheapproved technologies  + Unit tests all changes on development,and then workswith the appropriate

Business and/or Technology

Owner(s) to ensurethatthe developed solution meetsthebusiness requirements  + Communicates development progress daily to the senior-level team members  + Attendsto any work items assigned through the internal case system in a timely fashion  + Takes ownership of work items assigned,communicates estimates and daily progress as part ofthe

SDLC process, and actively works to resolve issues blocking progress  + Assistsin the QA process  + Participates,as required,in Productiondeployment, providing instructions and support for deployingthecodechanges successfully, andfor Smoke Testing code post-release  + Develop sand maintainsopen and fluid communication with Management  + Develop sand maintainsa positive relationship with other team members  + Additional duties as assigned  + 2-5 years experience  + Basic understanding of programming concepts  + Can code in one or more general purpose programming languages;

C#  programming languagesarepreferred  +

Experience with Python and SQL
** WHAT YOU'LL NEED
*** Experience with MVC / Containers / GCP preferred  

Experience with infrastructure components such as servers, networking, load balancers, and MQ preferred  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment & welcome change  Highly self-motivated  Ability to work both in team and solo environments  Bachelor’sdegree in related field or equivalent work experience
