Senior Software Developer – Metas Solutions

Metas Solutions, an 8(a)-certified, Woman Owned Small Business headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a talented Senior Software Developer to join our mission-driven team focused on public health and information technology solutions.

This .NET Developer role will design, build, and enhance data-driven applications that support public health data modernization initiatives. You’ll work with a collaborative, mission-driven team to develop scalable software solutions, optimize system performance, and contribute to the architecture of modern cloud-enabled platforms.

• Design, develop, and implement .NET-based applications that support data integration, analytics, and modernization initiatives.
• Build and optimize data‑driven solutions leveraging SQL and Postgre
  
  SQL, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to align application design with existing system architecture and long‑term modernization goals.
• Integrate secure Dev Sec Ops  and CI/CD practices into development workflows to improve deployment reliability and code quality.
• Develop and maintain APIs and microservices to enable interoperability and data exchange across multiple systems and platforms.
• Troubleshoot, test, and refine applications using version control (Git) and modern software engineering practices to enhance usability, scalability, and maintainability.

• 5+ years of .NET experience designing, developing, and implementing software applications.
• Experience building and optimizing data‑driven applications.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and architecture.
• Experience in SQL databases (Postgre
  
  SQL preferred) and familiarity with No
  
  SQL technologies.
• Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS).
• Experience using Git for source control and versioning.
• Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops  best practices and CI/CD technologies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
• Experience leveraging AI coding assistants to boost productivity and code correctness.
• Experience with Type Script and React for frontend development.
• Experience with Python for scripting.

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (Public Trust
  5) within a reasonable timeframe.
• Must be able to pass a Federal Background Investigation.
