Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer (Automation) to support Power Plan’s NXT product team. In this role, you will build and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright and Type Script for a cloud-based, metadata-driven platform. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and other QEs to ensure high-quality feature delivery within an agile environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and maintaining automated tests using Playwright + Type Script
- Executing in-sprint testing to validate new NXT features
- Collaborating with engineering and product to identify risks and improve coverage
- Participating in sprint ceremonies, contributing to test strategy, and improving QA processes
- Ensuring automated flows support core financial calculation and metadata-driven UI workflows
This role requires strong ownership, technical curiosity, and the ability to work effectively within a distributed team aligned to U.S. time zones.
Qualifications- 4+ years of experience in QA automation with a focus on UI and end-to-end testing
- Familiarity with testing within metadata-driven UI frameworks (Angular experience is a plus)
- Understanding of backend workflows, APIs, and data validation
- Experience testing complex business logic or financial/enterprise systems preferred
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects in an agile environment
- Proactive mindset with a focus on quality, coverage, and continuous improvement
Must have the ability to travel to the USA (Atlanta, GA) 1-2 times per year.
