Job Description

Contribute in requirements elicitation, creation of application architecture document and design artifacts; deliver high quality codes, support activities related to implementation and transition; interface with internal team and key stakeholders; analyze and resolve issues to ensure high quality deliverables at each stage of SDLC within the guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys.

• Hands on experience with J2EE, SPRING, Spring MVC, REST, JASPER, ANGULAR and HIBERNATE.
• Hands on experience with JUNIT, ANT, MAVEN, HUDSON AND SVN.
• Profound knowledge of design patterns and their applicability.
• Strong understanding of programming paradigms such as distributed architectures and multi-threaded program design.
• Providing solutions to software issues and communication options for resolution, recommending alternatives.
• Testing and integrating the system and assigning execution tasks and exploitation of software equipment.
• Ensuring compliance to all requirements and maintaining accuracy, designing all technical system documents and architectural standards.
• Documenting designs and performing all unit tests and developing appropriate applications.
• Designing code for all system design and preparing efficient application programming interfaces.
• Design, develop, test and implement requirements.
• Participating in code reviews, identifying/troubleshooting application code-related issues, reviewing and providing feedback on final user documentation.
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented development, version control, release management, change management.
• Familiar with Unix, Linux servers, and software/hardware installation.
• Experience with configuration and deployment on web/application servers.
• Hands on experience with application performance tuning and related tools.
• JBPM knowledge is preferable.
• Working knowledge with SQL Server and other database servers.
• Knowledge of Angular2, Mongo DB, Micro services and Big data is a plus.
• Understanding of financial services, life and annuity is a plus.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of experience in this field.

• Domain knowledge in insurance, specifically in life insurance and annuities.
• Prior experience with customizing the Policy Administration System (PAS).
• Customer‑facing experience.
