Senior Developer II

Purpose

Floor & Décor seeks a Senior Developer II for its Atlanta, GA office. The Senior Developer II is responsible for the full software development lifecycle for projects, enhancements, and fixes, including design, development, unit testing, system testing, and change management. The role also involves integrating new products and solutions into the existing environment and providing leadership to guide project execution.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Replenishment, Inventory, Order Management, and Transportation systems
• Work on large-sized programming tasks with limited supervision
• Design, develop, unit test, system test, and manage release cycles, including CI/CD pipelines
• Integrate new products and solutions into the existing environment for continuous improvement
• Develop advanced SQL statements and procedural code across multiple database management systems (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle)
• Manage software deployments and troubleshoot production issues
• Work with end users to define business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Provide level 2 production support and assist with task prioritization and deadlines for other developers
• Work closely with the Product team to understand functional requirements and provide technical and design guidance to other developers
• Assist in creating technical documentation, including technical standards, guidelines, and architecture diagrams

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a closely related field
• At least 7 years of full-lifecycle software development experience in the retail industry, involving supply chain, retail inventory, and store applications
• Ability to telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.
