Job Description - Senior Programmer/Developer - Cloud Native Developer/Team Lead - Spring Boot (052959)
OverviewAs a Cloud Native Spring Boot application developer, you will contribute to the design and development of cloud native applications for large scale enterprise applications. Use new technologies, techniques and patterns, provide proof of concepts, use standards and best practices. This role is highly collaborative with other development teams, architects for new project introduction and/or application enhancements. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person if they are passionate about technology, thrive in ever changing software solutions, and are motivated by the ability to impact customers in various industries.
MustHave’s
- 5 years or more working experience in Java stack technologies, Microservices, REST, JSON, XML, Maven/Gradle, and Spring framework tools such as Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Cloud, Spring Config, Spring Cloud, SQL and No
SQL databases such as Mongo
DB or Cassandra. - Experience with creation of REST-based microservices, Containerization with tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with SAFe Agile Scrum, Kanban, XP, or similar Agile frameworks.
- Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and is not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
- Applicants for employment in the US must have valid work authorization that does not now and/or will not in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the US by Capgemini.
- Programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks;
- Reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documentation, and implementation of software systems;
- Interpreting architecture and design, performing code reviews, mentoring, guiding and monitoring programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies;
- Collaborating with computer manufacturers and other users to develop new programming methods;
- Representing team in project meetings, working with business and functional analysts, and software & solution architects to ensure programs and systems function as intended;
- Supervising, training, mentoring junior level programmers and managing large teams of programmers on one or more projects;
- Representing project teams in project/program meetings or in meetings with sponsors.
- 7-10 years of experience, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in the role;
Bachelor’s Degree. - Experience in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management.
- Proficiency in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
