ServiceNow Developer

We are seeking an experienced Service Now Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable solutions on the Service Now platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in platform development, integrations, workflow automation,
CMDB
, Discovery
, and Custom Application Development using Service Now App Engine
.

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions across the Service Now platform.
• Build and customize workflows, Flow Designer automations, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, script includes, and service catalog components.
• Develop and support integrations with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, and MID Servers.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in platform enhancements, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Follow Service Now development best practices, governance standards, and documentation requirements.

• Hands‑on experience developing on the Service Now platform.
• Experience with ITSM modules and Service Now platform customization.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and API development.
• Solid understanding of Service Now architecture and platform capabilities.

Service Now Discovery & CMDB

• Hands‑on experience implementing and supporting Service Now Discovery
  .
• Experience configuring and managing MID Servers
  , credentials, probes, sensors, and discovery schedules.
• Strong understanding of CMDB data management
  , identification and reconciliation rules, and data governance.
• Experience troubleshooting Discovery patterns and improving Configuration Item (CI) accuracy.
• Knowledge of Service Mapping and infrastructure dependency mapping is a plus.

• Experience designing and building custom applications using Service Now App Engine
  .
• Ability to create custom data models, tables, forms, portals, and workflows.
• Experience developing scoped applications and reusable platform components.
• Strong understanding of low‑code/no‑code and pro‑code development approaches within Service Now.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable enterprise applications.

• Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

• Experience with Service Now Discovery, CMDB Health, Service Mapping, or Asset Management.
• Experience supporting enterprise‑scale Service Now environments.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Candidates with strong hands‑on experience in Service Now Discovery, CMDB optimization, and Custom Application Development (App Engine) will be given priority consideration.
