Location:
Atlanta, GA (Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite) – only locals
Duration:
Long-term
- Design and architect enterprise-grade Java applications and distributed systems.
- Lead modernization of legacy applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
- Integrate AI/GenAI capabilities into business applications, including chatbots, intelligent search, recommendation engines, and automation solutions.
- Design and implement solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), vector databases, AI orchestration frameworks, and prompt engineering techniques.
- Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to identify AI use cases and deliver scalable solutions.
- Define architecture standards, security best practices, observability, and performance optimization strategies.
- Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on Java development.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Experience designing enterprise architecture and scalable distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI technologies:
- Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Semantic Kernel, Llama Index, or related frameworks.
- Prompt Engineering and AI Agent development.
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Dev Ops practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Retail or eCommerce domain experience.
- Experience building AI-powered customer engagement, search, personalization, or merchandising solutions.
