Job Description
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will take full ownership of designing and deploying robust AI architectures, intelligent agent systems, and custom machine learning pipelines. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing core algorithms and services in Python, integrating enterprise APIs, and building scalable conversational AI platforms. You will work extensively with AWS Bedrock, Bedrock Agent Core, and MCP frameworks to orchestrate multi-agent workflows and cloud-native AI models.
Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional product, data engineering, and software development teams to optimize model performance, ensure robust security, and drive high-impact AI transformation initiatives from concept to production.
- Design, architect, and deploy enterprise-grade artificial intelligence systems, machine learning models, and conversational AI solutions.
- Build, scale, and maintain advanced AI agent workflows utilizing AWS Bedrock, Model Control Protocols (MCP), and Bedrock Agent Core.
- Develop high-performance backend services, automation scripts, and application logic primarily using Python.
- Design and integrate robust RESTful APIs and microservices architectures to connect AI models with enterprise systems.
- Create sophisticated natural language processing and conversational AI interfaces for enhanced user engagement.
- Collaborate with data engineering and Dev Ops teams to optimize cloud resource utilization and model inference latency.
- Ensure strict adherence to data privacy, AI governance, and enterprise security compliance standards.
- Mentor junior engineers, establish best practices in AI development, and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional software engineering experience, with significant specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning development.
- Extensive hands-on programming expertise in Python.
- Proven practical experience building and deploying generative AI solutions using AWS Bedrock, MCP, and Bedrock Agent Core.
- Strong technical mastery of API design, integration, and conversational AI framework development.
- Must be local to Atlanta, GA and fully available for required in-person interviews and hybrid work arrangements.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects from conception through to production deployment.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a quantitative engineering field.
- Prior experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, Qdrant) and advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Contributions to open-source AI frameworks or published research in machine learning and conversational AI.
- Experience operating within agile, fast-paced enterprise IT consultancy or client-facing environments.
