Senior Full-Stack QA Engineer

Our team is looking for a Senior Full-Stack QA Engineer for one of our clients.

is a global mobility and urban services platform that allows users to book rides or other services and negotiate the fare directly with the service provider. It offers a variety of services including ride-hailing, intercity travel, delivery, and task assistance, operating in over 700 cities across 47 countries and is the second most downloaded mobility app in the world.

This is a product delivery team responsible for the end-to-end passenger experience in a ride-hailing application. The scope covers the full passenger journey — from onboarding and order creation to tariff and driver selection, the in-ride experience, and post-ride interactions such as ratings, reviews, contextual trip updates, promos, and discounts. You will work on passenger-app features and an integration layer that connects downstream services to support the user experience.

The tech context includes a microservices architecture, event-driven integrations, mobile feature delivery for driver and passenger apps, data analytics, and A/B testing.

• Design and maintain test cases / test suites for product features.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for APIs and mobile UI (iOS and Android).
• Implement shift-left testing practices.
• Build and maintain test frameworks and tools for QA engineers, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Ensure the reliability of testing infrastructure.
• Work with Tech Ops and other teams to implement quality management processes and improve testing workflows.
• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with backend and mobile developers to prevent regressions.
• Track quality metrics in Jira/Tableau, automate routine tasks. Advocate for testability.

• 3+ years in Functional Testing. 3+ years in QA Automation. 1+ year in mobile app testing and automation.
• Recent hands-on experience with both functional and automated testing.
• Proficiency in API testing (
  Postman or similar), database operations (CRUD), and basic command-line tools (bash/zsh).
• Proficiency in mobile testing (iOS and Android, including emulators, traffic sniffing, and OS‑specific testing).
• Proficiency in Kotlin (or, alternatively, strong programming skills in at least one language: Python, Java, Type Script).
• Solid understanding of mobile platforms, client‑server architecture, and network protocols.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions), version control (Git), and test management practices. Ability to read and reason about backend and frontend code to pinpoint defects accurately.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Git Hub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate coding, testing, and code review workflows

Intermediate or higher

• Experience with contract testing (Pact) or visual regression testing for mobile.
• Experience with GraphQL and gRPC contract testing
• Highly proactive – ability to figure out who to reach out to and how to get things done independently.
• Stakeholder management – comfortable interacting with various stakeholders, from senior developers to product managers.
• Curious mindset – challenges existing processes and looks for continuous improvement.
