The Athletics Department at Georgia State University is seeking to hire an Assistant Strength Coach
. This position will assist the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach with all areas of training including weight programs, specific physical conditioning programs for student‑athletes, and maintaining equipment and weight rooms.

• Assist in education and prevention of athletics injuries through daily communication with Head Strength Coach, Athletic Trainers, and Sport Coaches.
• Instruct and supervise all assigned sports in strength and conditioning activities; assist in preparation and planning workout programs.
• Maintain equipment inventory and travel to Panthersville for off‑site training.
• Maintenance of all weight training machines and other devices used for strength training and conditioning activities.
• Other duties as assigned by Head Strength Coach.

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

• Must obtain CSCCA Certification within the first year of employment.
