Established in 2000 and headquartered at our Club Support Center in Atlanta, Georgia, Bobby Jones Links is a club management and development company serving private, resort, daily fee, and public courses.

Charlie Yates Golf Course, managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Pro Shop Attendants. The course is located just minutes from downtown Atlanta and was redesigned by Rees Jones in 1998. The Charlie Yates Golf Course features a driving range, chipping and putting areas, and a newly renovated clubhouse and is a leader in junior, beginner, and minority golf instruction programs within the East Lake community.

Responsibilities of the Pro Shop Attendant at Charlie Yates Golf Course include:

• Assisting the Head Golf Professional in planning, promoting, and directing all golf activities.
• Developing merchandise sales and promotions during holidays, special events, and times when sales are slow.
• Ordering supplies for the golf shop as directed by the Head Golf Professional.
• Assisting the Head Golf Professional with all tournament operations.
• Maintaining all logs (competition, rain checks, monthly range, etc.).
• Completing customer transactions.

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and club point of sale systems.
• Understanding of club financials.
• Evaluation of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
• Knowledge of shop inventory.
• Attention to detail.

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to walk or stand for long periods, sit, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. Depth perception and ability to adjust focus are also required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.

• Be exposed to outside weather conditions including temperatures over 90 and below 40 degrees.
• Work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
