Overview

Driver/Operator – Bus. We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

• $18.30 - $29.04
• Starting pay $18.30 with progression to $29.04 over 4 years

• Safety-Focused Operations:
  Execute operations by following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Passenger Care:
  Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
• Vehicle Vigilance:
  Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance issues promptly, and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
• Adherence to Protocols:
  Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required

• 21 years or older
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
• Excellent communication & customer service skills
• Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed
• Subject to a DOT drug test and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis

The essential functions require the ability to:

• Work outdoors in varying temperatures; 100% of the job is performed outside, possibly working alone in remote locations
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances and on sloped or uneven surfaces
• Push/pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift up to 50 lbs; bend, kneel, or crouch as needed
• Withstand exposure to heavy traffic, dust, vehicle fumes, and noise
