The Motor Vehicle Dispatcher is tasked with the responsibility of coordinating and allocating transportation resources in support of operations at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This position is crucial for ensuring the efficient utilization of vehicle assets, maintaining accurate dispatch records, and facilitating effective communication between drivers and personnel to ensure the timely and safe transportation of staff.

• Communicate effectively in English speaking and writing.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Schedule, dispatch, and track CDC motor vehicles to support personnel and programmatic needs.
• Maintain detailed logs of vehicle assignments, mileage, fuel use, and trip purposes.
• Monitor vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, and repair needs.
• Ensure compliance with CDC and federal transportation policies and safety regulations.
• Respond to emergency transport requests, rerouting as necessary.
• Maintain updated knowledge of local roads, travel conditions, and relevant security protocols.
