NEMT Driver

We are a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Company (NEMT). We are hiring full-time drivers to help transport clients to and from their medical appointments. We are seeking professional, friendly, and courteous drivers. Must have patience and compassion to work with individuals with special needs. All drivers must be flexible and able to adapt to last-minute changes. Must be 25 or older to apply.

Must be able to submit a clean drug screen, nationwide background check, and a 7-year MVR with no violations within the last 2 years. No DUI period. Your driver’s license must be active. Must have a computer or a laptop to complete online training if hired.

You will be provided with a company vehicle. Must have your own personal vehicle to get to and from the company car. Maintenance and gas are covered by the company. Drivers are required to clean inside and out of company vehicles as needed. Due to insurance purposes, vehicles are not to be used for personal use.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pick up and drop off clients at their medical appointments in a timely manner.  Perform daily inspections of company-provided vehicles before and after the start of routes.  Utilize iPad, company software, and GPS to successfully complete routes.  Assist clients in and out of company vehicles when specified and as needed.  Maintain a clean vehicle inside and out as needed.  Accept trips without prior notice and sometimes at the last minute.  

Follow all safety protocols while driving and interacting with clients.  Complete Trip Reimbursement Forms daily.  Adhere to all companies’ policies and procedures.  Must be able to work a split shift, starting early morning and afternoons.  Must be able to drive in congested traffic throughout Atlanta and surrounding areas.  Must be punctual and have a strong attendance record. Poor attendance records will not be tolerated.  

Must be able to comply with HIPPA laws and requirements.  Must have personal transportation.  Must be able to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.

PAY AND BENEFITS:

UP TO $15.63/HR DEPENDING ON THE LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE  Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 – $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
