Class A CDL Driver Responsibilities

As a Class A CDL Driver, you will:

Safely operate assigned tractor-trailer equipment on all routes
Complete scheduled deliveries throughout the operating area
Handle no-touch freight
Complete live-unload deliveries as required/ NO TOUCH THOUGH!
Maintain required vehicle inspections, logs and paperwork
Follow dispatch instructions and scheduled delivery times
Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality
Follow DOT and company safety requirements

Class A CDL Driver Requirements

To qualify, you must:

Be at least 21 years old
Hold a valid Class A CDL- SAP Is accepted
Have at least 2 yrs of experience, or qualify for available training
Have no DUI convictions within the past 10 years, or 5 years for non-CDL holders
Have no major preventable accident within the past year
Have no serious violations within the past year
Be able to pass a DOT physical
Be able to pass a drug screen
Demonstrate strong backing skills
Be comfortable driving a night- day-shift schedule
