Job Description
** Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities):
*** Meets warehouse financial standards by monitoring operational best practices and maintaining efficiency.
* Meets safety goals by ensuring 100% compliance with company Safety Program.
* Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.
* Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
* Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
* Secures warehouse by turning alarms on; testing systems.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
* Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
* Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
* Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse operational improvements.
* Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
* Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
* Directly responsible for leading and managing a crew for 5-6 employees
** Required

Education and Experience:

*** 4+ years as a Supervisor in a warehouse or distribution environment
* Proficient with all MS office programs
* Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
* Experienced analyzing data and reporting
** Other Requirements:
*** Must be able to obtain and sustain all required badging needed to work on assigned projects
* ** Trave
* * l: 80-90% travel is required

** Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
** This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Weekend and Holiday work will vary depending on business needs.
