Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team in a warehouse environment. This position requires experience with cherry pickers and inventory control. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically capable, and eager to contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse. Upon successful completion of the training period, this position will transition to a regular shift starting at 6:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

* Cherry Picker Operation:
Safely operate a cherry picker to pick and move materials, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment.

* Inventory Control:
Assist in inventory management by performing cycle counts, updating inventory records, and maintaining accurate stock levels.

* Material Handling:
Unload, sort, and organize materials; ensure products are stored in the correct locations and properly labeled.

* Order Fulfillment:
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.

* Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ensure the safe operation of all warehouse equipment, including cherry pickers and pallet jacks.

Collaboration:

Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and managers to meet operational goals and maintain efficient warehouse processes.

Qualifications:

* Experience:

Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with proficiency in operating a cherry picker and inventory control practices.

* Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.

* Skills:

Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.

* Certifications (Preferred):
Cherry picker certification or willingness to obtain one during the training period.

* Availability:
Ability to work early shifts (6:00 AM start time) after the training period.
