Salary range: $39,370 - $45,032
General Description and Classification Standards:
Duties include but are not limited to: stocking supplies; preparing and receiving reports; issuing supplies; answering the telephone; operating equipment; and updating inventory via the computer system (Waterworks).
Supervision Received:
Works under very general supervision. May work independently or with other skilled or semi-skilled workers with responsibility for the completion of assigned tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
These are typical responsibilities for this position and should not be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.
Stocks, supplies, and equipment in assigned storerooms.
Prepare receiving reports on time.
Maintains neat and orderly storerooms to promote efficient stock movement and storage.
Prepare items for shipping as required.
Issues tools and supplies to authorized personnel as necessary.
Research invoice cost received from the finance department or vendor and prepare the cost of inventory items.
Directs the distribution of goods to appropriate destinations by checking acquisitions and routing goods accordingly.
Conducts inventories and orders stock requisitions by physically accounting for equipment and supplies on hand.
Keeps records of purchase items and research invoice costs.
Approves purchase of stock and supplies, such as tools, parts, and machinery.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
1-3 years of clerical, stocking, store keeping operations, or related experience required; or any equivalent
Regular warehouse environment
Outside work in the elements is sometimes required
Work Schedule:This is a mission-critical position.
Seven days a week on a rotating schedule
Overtime may be required
No Light Duty Work
