Senior AI Electrical Architect – Medium/Low Voltage

The Senior AI Electrical Architect – MV/LV leads the electrical architecture for Siemens’ AI Factory program, spanning high‑, medium‑, and low‑voltage systems. This role is responsible for developing scalable, future‑ready electrical designs that integrate both physical and digital power infrastructure across AI Factory and data center environments. The architect collaborates closely with multidisciplinary engineering, business, innovation, and R&D teams to translate complex electrical systems into reference architectures and reusable design frameworks deployed across Siemens portfolios and customer solutions.

make an impact by
  • Leading electrical architecture activities across HV, MV, and LV domains for AI Factory and data center programs.
  • Designing and integrating physical power infrastructure, including AC and DC systems, power conversion, backup generation, storage, and distribution.
  • Enhancing Siemens offers related to energy management, SCADA, digital twin, grid models, and related services.
  • Co‑creating with peers across disciplines to optimize Siemens reference architectures and client‑specific AI Factory designs.
  • Creating scalable electrical system designs, libraries, and guidelines reused across portfolios, advanced development, and R&D teams.
  • Incorporating emerging NEC, NFPA, and UL standards into forward‑looking electrical design concepts.

  • Electrical Systems Architecture: Leads MV/LV electrical design across complex AI Factory and data center environments.
  • Digital Power & Grid Modeling: Applies advanced simulation and modeling tools to validate power system design.
  • Business Acumen: Translates electrical design decisions into scalable customer and portfolio value.
  • Standards-Driven Design: Integrates emerging NEC, NFPA, UL, and OCP requirements into future‑ready architectures.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Works effectively across fast‑paced, multidisciplinary teams and platforms.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in MV/LV electrical system design or architecture.
  • Hands‑on experience with electrical codes and standards.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required, up to 50%.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems.
  • Experience in integrating OEM components into an optimized skid for modular deployment.
  • Experience using Siemens grid modeling, electrical design, or power automation tools.

The pay range for this position is $130,600 - $208,500 annually with a target incentive of 15% annually. Actual offer may be lower or higher depending on the selected professional.
