Fulfillment Associate; Order Picker

Job Summary

As a Fulfillment Associate (Order Picker) at Home Depot, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless customer experience by accurately selecting, preparing, and processing customer orders. You will be part of a dynamic warehouse team, maintaining high standards of efficiency, safety, and quality. • Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment or pickup.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Prepare products for delivery or store transfer, ensuring packaging meets quality standards.
• Assist in receiving, sorting, and stocking merchandise efficiently.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and warehouse safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and order tracking.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).

• Prior experience in a warehouse, retail, or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with inventory management systems or order fulfillment software is a plus.

• Full-time position with flexible shifts available, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Overtime may be required during peak seasons to meet customer demand.

• Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address order discrepancies or inventory issues.
