Atlanti Care southeastern New Jersey s largest health system and a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient is seeking a visionary and innovative Chief of Gastroenterology to lead the development of a high-impact academic division that blends excellence in clinical care research and education in alignment with its Vision 2030 transformation strategy.

Job Description:

This is a high-impact LEADERSHIP POSTION open only to physicians NOT APPs specializing in Gastroenterology. As Chief of Gastroenterology at Atlanti Care you will:

Design build and lead a cutting-edge GI program aligned with Atlanti Care s Vision 2030 goals

Create a dynamic academic GI division emphasizing research education and advanced clinical care Develop and expand advanced GI services including complex endoscopic procedures inpatient and outpatient GI care Recruit train and inspire a multidisciplinary team including GI hospitalists faculty fellows and support staff

Serve as a hands-on clinical leader providing expert consultation and management of complex GI cases

Drive collaboration across specialties especially in cancer care leveraging strategic partnerships with Drexel University and The Cleveland Clinic Ensure consistent endoscopic block time and manage robust referral volumes from day one Foster workforce development through mentoring training and culture-building initiatives

Enhance access and reduce disparities by engaging with underserved communities

Required certifications at start include BLS ACLS DEA and CSR/CDSOpen to candidates who have history of malpractice or licensing issues with limitations considered.

This is a high-impact leadership position where the successful candidate will shape GI care delivery and education for Atlantic Ocean and Cape May Counties in New Jersey.
