* Teacher of the Handicapped or
* Elementary School Teacher K - 8 plus Students with Disabilities certification or
* Elementary School Teacher K - 6 plus Students with Disabilities certification or
* qualify for certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program
Qualifications:
* Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate or qualify for certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program
* Holder of a Certificate of Eligibility must complete the 50 hour pre-professional experience as required by the NJ Department of Education
* Demonstrates ability to implement an IEP affectively
* Demonstrates knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods
* Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language
* Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
