Job Goal:
To provide an approved education program and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth. To help students develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education; and to maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members.
Qualifications:
* Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate for Elementary School Teacher K-6 or K-8 or ability to obtain certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program
* Holder of Certificates of Eligibility must complete the 50-hour pre-professional experience as required by the NJ Department of Education
* Demonstrates knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods
* Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language
* Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
