PRINCIPAL (Elementary​/Middle School Level

Elementary/Middle School Level 12-Month Position

Job Goal:
To establish an educational climate that strives to insure the health, safety and wellbeing of the school community through a program to develop positive student behavior: to provide and maintain quality instruction and related services; to supervise professional staff; to develop a meaningful and appropriate instructional program; to work with staff on curriculum development and evaluation; and to work cooperatively with the vice principal in all phases of the total educational program.

Qualifications:

Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility Minimum experience of two years as a Principal, Vice Principal or in a school leadership role At least five years of successful teaching experience Demonstrated leadership skills in the areas of curriculum development, program evaluation, staff development and school improvement Strong interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated skills to use the computer as a management tool Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

Supervises:
All Certified and Non-certified staff assigned to the school
