- qualify for certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program
- Holder of a Certificate of Eligibility instructional certificate must complete the 50 hour pre-professional experience as required by the NJ Department of Education
- Demonstrates ability to implement an IEP effectively
- Demonstrates knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods
