Overview
The Transportation Solution Division within the Leidos Civil group is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join a dynamic team working on Air Traffic Management programs including En-Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) and Time-Based Flow Management (TBFM).
Primary Responsibilities- Act as a Regression Testing Engineer responsible for testing key components of the air traffic control system and performing regression tests.
- Develop and maintain Red Hat scripts to automate and streamline testing and related processes.
- Contribute to system architecture, system concept development, requirements engineering, operational and decision analysis, system definition, risk management, and requirements baseline management.
- Develop test approaches and test steps, execute tests in lab environments, and perform integration and debugging of multiple interfaces.
- Develop scripts and test automation tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Apply knowledge of software development life cycles and testing methodologies; familiarity with Red Hat/Linux environments and scripting is essential.
Additional context: knowledge of cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), or digital engineering is considered a significant plus.
Basic Qualifications- Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including experience through academic projects.
- Degree in engineering or computer science.
