Surveillance Shift Supervisor

Performs the duties of Surveillance Shift Supervisor during absence of full-time regular supervisors. Provides Family Style Service at all times. May perform other duties as assigned.

Oversees surveillance operations and coordinates activities related to the surveillance of gaming tables, slot machines, and cashiers' cages and casino cashier windows including the audio-visual taping of soft count room operations. Utilizes technical equipment to identify, record, and document illegal and unusual activities occurring in the table games, slots, casino cashier windows, and cage areas. Supervises, trains, and monitors performance of direct reports.

Reviews all daily activity reports and prepares shift reports for management. Reports illegal and unusual activities to management and regulatory agencies. Handles highly sensitive information in an extremely confidential manner.

High school diploma required; advance education in law enforcement or criminal justice preferred. Must have valid NJ CCC Key License. Minimum of two years experience as a Surveillance Officer required. Must have keen observation and reporting skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Required to perform the customer service standards of the department. Knowledgeable of the Casino Control Act respective to gaming operations, as well as company and internal controls, policies and procedures.
