Day shift, 3x12.0 hours.

The Respiratory Therapist provides quality patient care by delivering intensive respiratory treatments and facilitating patient transport within the facility as prescribed. The role includes evaluating patients and recommending treatment plans, explaining procedures and treatment purposes to patients, and providing necessary education upon discharge.

• Conduct physician‑prescribed treatments using various ventilatory equipment, oxygen, and aerosol devices.
• Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning by various methods (oropharyngeal, nasal, tracheal).
• Monitor and perform oximetry and capnography according to policy.
• Review patient’s chest x‑rays and perform pulmonary function studies.
• Assist with respiratory care procedures such as bronchoscopy, Perc Trachs, and chest tube placement.
• Perform tracheostomy care and arterial punctures as per policy.
• Execute cardiopulmonary resuscitation following BLS and ACLS guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient responses in respiratory care records.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding therapy efficiency and patient care.

Valid respiratory therapy license and relevant certifications required.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
