EVS Supervisor

Overview As an EVS Supervisor you are responsible for leading the team of cleaning staff to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in various areas. Responsibilities Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures. Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.

Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service. Responsible for the overall daily cleaning needs of the casino/hotel. Schedules staff on respective shifts and assigns daily chores. Can recommend hiring or terminating in conjunction with disciplinary action. Trains line employees. Performs other duties as assigned by Environmental Services management. If in the process of performing duties access to RESTRICTED areas is needed, appropriate security escort will be provided.

Performs any other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate's degree preferred. Should be familiar with cleaning equipment and chemicals . Two (2) years supervisory experience in environmental services or housekeeping preferred Good organizational and communication skills required.
